A seasoned leader in defense markets, global strategy, and technology security, Grant brings a wealth of experience in fostering international partnerships and driving business growth.
In her capacity as Strategic Growth Advisor, Grant provides guidance on strategic development and market penetration, leveraging her extensive understanding of international governments and defense procurement.
With a distinguished career spanning defense, aerospace, and government service, Grant is uniquely positioned to advise on complex global strategies and technology security initiatives. Her proven ability to cultivate international partnerships and drive revenue growth makes her an invaluable asset in navigating the global landscape.
Prior to her current role, Grant served as Vice President of Defense Global Growth & Engagement and Vice President of Business Development at Boeing. In these leadership positions, she directed a large, international team responsible for aligning Boeing’s defense, space, and government services with customer mission requirements, achieving over $24 billion in annual business growth.
Before joining Boeing, Grant held significant roles within the U.S. Department of Defense for over three decades, including 19 years as a member of the Senior Executive Service. Her last appointment was as the Director for the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, where she oversaw over $600 billion in foreign military sales cases across more than 150 countries and managed a certification program for 20,000 personnel.
Earlier in her DoD career, Grant served as the Director of the Defense Technology Security Administration, developing global technology security policies for international defense transfers. She also held the position of Deputy Undersecretary of the Air Force, International Affairs, where she provided oversight for international policy, security assistance, and cooperative research and development.
Grant’s earlier impactful roles include serving as the first civilian director of resources and analysis for USCENTCOM, leading resource strategy for Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. She also established the resource framework as the first director of resources for U.S. Africa Command.
Heidi Grant actively contributes her expertise through board memberships with the Space Force Association (SFA), Foreign Area Officers Association (FAOA), and the Royal Air Force Museum American Foundation (RAFMAF). She also serves on the Global Special Operations Forces (GSOF) Advisory Council and the Armed Forces Communication Electronics Association (AFCEA) International Executive Committee.
